Origins[]
The Maharajahnate was a princely state during the British East India Company rule as well as the British Raj in India from 1846 to 1916 when it was annexed as a Puppet State of Indo-Persia. The princely state was created after the First Anglo-Sikh War, when the East India Company, which had annexed the Kashmir Valley, Jammu, Ladakh, and Gilgit-Baltistan from the Sikhs as war indemnity, then sold the region to the Raja of Jammu, Gulab Singh, for 7,500,000 (75 lakh Nanakshahee) rupees.

The Government is a Constitutional Monarchy ruled by a Maharajah, (High King in India) and governed by a Satrap who reports to Reza Shah as Emperor of India. The Political Division of Jammu and Kashmir is that the Kingdom is a Puppet State of the India Region meaning it's Satraps answer to the Prime Minister of India.
